With a deep-rooted passion for home building and a commitment to client advocacy, Embrey founded REL Contracting and Design to simplify and enhance the custom home-building and renovation experience. Embrey’s journey began long before her formal education—growing up, Embrey was immersed in the world of construction, frequently assisting her father in reviewing construction and engineering plans and evaluating site conditions. This early exposure, combined with a shared enthusiasm for home design with her mother, sparked a lifelong dedication to creating functional and beautiful spaces.

Embrey holds an Associate’s degree in Interior Design and an Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering Distribution from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a Master’s in Building Science and Construction from Auburn University. To further refine her expertise, Embrey earned her MBA in Finance and Real Estate Development from Jacksonville State University.

With over a decade of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry and an interior design consultant, Embrey has overseen a wide range of projects—from commercial high-rises to custom luxury homes. Through these experiences, Embrey recognized a major gap in the residential sector: homeowners often feel overwhelmed by the endless decisions, coordination, and quality control required to bring their vision to life. This realization led to the creation of REL Contracting and Design.
